Downloading and Testing the Matrix Arrow EA MT5© Demo Version in the MT5 Strategy Tester 

To test the Matrix Arrow EA MT5©, make sure to download the demo version of the Matrix Arrow Indicator MT5© as well. Below, you’ll find a video tutorial and detailed instructions to help with the testing process. 

1. Open the Market tab in your MT5 terminal (1). Search for 'matrix arrow' in the search box (2), and the Matrix Arrow Indicator MT5© and Matrix Arrow EA MT5© will be displayed in the results. Click on the Matrix Arrow Indicator MT5© (3) to view its product page. 

2. Select the Download Demo button (4) on the Matrix Arrow Indicator MT5© page to store the demo version in your Market Indicators folder. 

3. Click the small grey arrow in the upper-left corner of the Market tab to go back, and this time, click on the Matrix Arrow EA MT5© (5). 

4. Select the Download Demo button (6) for the Matrix Arrow EA MT5© to store the demo version of the EA in your Market Experts folder. 

5. Open the Strategy Tester through MT5 >> View >> Strategy Tester, and pick the Matrix Arrow EA MT5© from your Market folder to begin testing (7). 

6. Decide on the instrument to test (8), the timeframe to use (9), the period for testing (10), and the account balance and leverage settings (11). 

7. In the Strategy Tester, go to the Inputs tab, right-click the Load button, and select the correct set file (12) from the product description page or the bottom of this page. 

8. You must adjust the trading hours to align with your broker’s server time (13), as the set files are designed for ICMarkets Raw Spread GMT+3 accounts. If your broker follows GMT+3 in the summer and GMT+2 in winter, no adjustments are necessary. Once done, click the Start button on the bottom right of the Strategy Tester to begin testing (14). 

The server time can be found in your broker’s Marketwatch window. If your broker is not on GMT+3 (summer) or GMT+2 (winter), you’ll need to modify the trading hours accordingly. For example, for GMT+0, all trading hours should be adjusted 3 hours back, as shown below: 

Start Hour: 12

Start Minutes: 00

End Hour: 22

End Minutes: 50

you need to change it to:

Start Hour: 9

Start Minutes: 00

End Hour: 19

End Minutes: 50
